An important message from ITAP president, Christina Kowalski
Fellow Members and Colleagues,
First and foremost, thank you for your patience and understanding over the last year. The impact on our non-profit organization is profound and will continue to affect us well into the future. In person events are crucial to our ecosystem and to the survival of our mission-driven work, and as a loyal Member, you play an important role.
The Investment Traders Association of Philadelphia continues its journey of 98 years with promoting, encouraging, and inspiring high standards of ethics and just principles of business among the members engaged and interested in the securities industry. As the city of Philadelphia cautiously reopens in safe ways, ITAP is excited to get back into the swing of things. Before everything came to a screeching halt last year ITAP was growing exponentially. Last year was as difficult one for all including ITAP. We have extended our network to include Investment Professionals of all aspects of the investment community. ITAP now needs your support more than ever. With your dues and sponsorships we are looking forward to hosting the following this year:
- Golf Outing held at North Hills Country Club on Monday, August 30th
- Trivia Night (Zoom)
- Fall Social (TBD)
- Happy Hour
Thank you once again to our MEMBERS, past presidents, governors, and current governors. I am appreciative of your guidance, ideas, and hard work. I look forward to another year working with all of you.
With more members, we can hold events in different locations, such as the suburbs, to accommodate members located in and outside the city. We believe we can achieve this increase in membership by opening membership to a larger variety of investment professionals, not just specifically traders. This will benefit ITAP members by increasing networking opportunities and helping members to understand the financial industry on a holistic level.
If everyone reading this message recommends one person to join ITAP, our organization will reap the benefits for years to come.
I am eager to continue my term as president of ITAP and I look forward to working with you as we continue to expand our network and footprint in the Philadelphia area.
Thank you,
Christina Kowalski
President, Investment Traders Association of Philadelphia
