Founded in 1923, the Investment Traders Association of Philadelphia (ITAP) is an affiliate of the Security Traders Association. For over a century, ITAP has brought together individuals united by a shared passion for the financial markets.

While ITAP was originally founded for securities traders, today our membership reflects the broader capital markets. We bring together professionals across trading, sales, research, compliance, operations, and fintech, as well as individuals in trading-adjacent roles such as quantitative analysis and market structure research. We also welcome those with a strong personal interest in investing and the markets who are seeking to deepen their knowledge and expand their network.
