John’s journey in the financial service industry has been marked by a consistent commitment to delivering top-notch sales and service. His extensive managerial background encompasses a spectrum of expertise, including territory management, seamless coordination of client services, personnel supervision, as well as recruitment and training of associates.

His dedication to cultivating outstanding customer relations has not only forged strong client connections but has also contributed to a robust portfolio of successful projects.

John’s prowess extends beyond just numbers and spreadsheets. Raymond Hally, Director of Equity, Bancroft Capital
Vice President 2024 – 2026

A dependable, detail-oriented individual with 25+ years of experience in the Wall Street community. Strong analytical ability; a talent for evaluating market trends and economic conditions. Excellent communication skills, maintaining relationship with clients, colleagues, and brokers. Ability to disseminate complex, technical information in easy to understand terminology.

Wingate Grim, CFA, JD Group Holdings
Treasurer 2024 – 2026

Wingate conducts investment research and manages client portfolios for JD Group Holdings.

He is responsible for shaping investment strategies and providing the team with well-informed insights. Leveraging his experience and analytical acumen, Wingate combines a data-driven approach with a deep understanding of market psychology to navigate challenges and uncover investment opportunities for clients.

Prior to his role with JD Group, he was Head of Research at The Philadelphia Trust Company where he led equity research initiatives and worked with the Chief Investment Officer to manage the firm’s institutional portfolio. During his tenure at Philadelphia Trust, he was a contributing member of the Investment Policy Committee providing fundamental/quantitative research.

Wingate graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and belongs to CFA Society Philadelphia.

Wingate serves as Treasurer for the Investment Traders Association of Philadelphia (ITAP).

Christina Kowalski, Conestoga Capital Advisors
Ex-Officio

Ms. Kowalski joined Conestoga Capital Advisors in December 2019 as Head Trader & Operations Analyst. Prior to Conestoga, Christina was an Equity Research Analyst/Trader and Operations Manager for The Swarthmore Group and served as Senior Equity Trader at StoneRidge Investment Partners . She has over twenty years of experience in the investment industry. Ms. Kowalski received a B.S. degree in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University. She is the affiliate contact for the Philadelphia area for STA Women in Finance and also serves on the board for Philly Girls in Motion, a non-profit in the Philadelphia area.

Carlos A. Jimenez, Berenberg Capital Markets
Ex Officio

Carlos joined Berenberg Capital Markets as a Director of Trading in April 2021. He has over 28 years of experience as a Sales Trader. Previously, Carlos worked at Macquarie Capital Markets, Merrill Lynch, Susquehanna, Herzog, Heine, Geduld and Knight Capital. Carlos has been an ITAP board member for 20 years as well as a past president. Carlos graduated from The University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Eric Green, CFA, Penn Capital
Board Member 2024 – 2026

Investment professional with expertise in managing public equities for a diversified portfolio. Experience with managing alternative assets (high yield, leveraged loans and oil & gas). Effective in constructing investment research and writing reports. Proven record of success in managing team members, improving investor relationships, and developing new business opportunities while maintaining established portfolios. Skilled in Asset Management, Investments/Portfolio Construction Strategies, and Macroeconomic Research-Driving Opportunistic Investing Activities utilizing both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Expertise in Casino/Gaming Industry with over 20 years following gaming companies. Board Member and Chairman of Compensation Committee at Full House Resorts, Inc.

Scott Richard, VP – Global Head of Sales & Strategy, S3
Board Member 2024 – 2026

Scott Richard is VP Global Head of Sales & Strategy at S3, a full-service compliance reporting and trade analytics software company, where he is responsible for overseas business development and relationship management. Scott is a 20+ year veteran in the Financial Services Industry. His career started at CyberTrader (a division of Charles Schwab) where he led the technical support and new business development call center. Scott then moved to Nasdaq and held a variety of roles over the past 15 years, including running the Nasdaq Operations Center, selling Nasdaq proprietary Market Data, and Global Business Development and Sales for Nasdaq’s OCEAN solutions. Scott resides with his wife and two children in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin and enjoys creating craft ice cream in his spare time. To counter the effects of the ice cream, Scott is an avid Peloton rider and workout enthusiast.

Joseph G. Witthohn, CFA, Emerald Asset Management
Board Member 2024 – 2026

Joe Witthohn is VP of Product Development at Emerald Asset Management, a growth manager headquartered in Lancaster, PA. In addition to a marketing degree, “Wit” holds an MBA from University of New Hampshire, a Masters of Science in Finance from Boston College and is now in his 19th year of grading CFA exams. On the side his hobby is acting … as he had minor background roles in movies such as “Creed,” “Creed II” and “Mare of Easttown,” ended up on the cutting room floor in “Hustle,” and should see more screen time in the upcoming biopic “Audrey’s Children. “ He also has principal roles in “The Canfather” and “Who” … shows that are just now being released. A producer of a daily newsletter (with a readership of close to 1,000 if you count his relatives) it is his goal to help ITAP move forward in the years ahead.
